FIRST CALL: iAV20 (Intelligent Audio Visual) Online Event
This year the annual conference of the Audio Visual Cultural Forum (AVCF) will happen online.
iAV20 (Intelligent AV) will take place on Thursday 30th of July. We aim to gather our members, supporters and sponsors to present a series of snapshot talks and panels. We will explore the specific challenges we face as this pandemic casts its shadow. Including these topics AND MORE:
- From how we deal with interactive exhibitions in museums and galleries to how to handle our people as they come back to the workplace?
- What new skills do we need as we train and educate the next generation of people who, will eventually replace us?
- How will traditional roles will change as we adapt?
There are many questions out there, everyone is asking, no one can be sure of the answers… but we’ll get there together.
Join us, along with our supporters, recruiters Jacobs Massey, specialists from d&baudiotechnik, Shure UK, Panasonic and White Light LTD. Featuring AVCF members from museums, galleries and the cultural sector.
We’re going to deliver an informative and entertaining afternoon in true cultural forum fashion.
If you’ve joined us before you’ll know the great mix we put together and as we have to go virtual this year this will be a great introduction for anyone yet to sample our networking community whose guiding mantra is ‘people not boxes’.
This year we will also announce the first recipient of the new Harrison Award in honour of the memory of David Harrison a much loved member from the Royal Society who was taken from us by COVID 19.
So reserve your place for iAV20.
