I’m happy to announce that the first of these events is in place forThursday April 4th at The Royal Geographical Society. between 09.30 and 16.00

This is the first of a series of events that combine a theme, chosen by the host. A keynote presented in the morning relevant this theme, a chance to see an interesting venue and a forum discussion after lunch, in the afternoon.  We are very happy to announce that along with the hosting of Alfredo Radetitch, AV Manager, and the team at RGS we also have our generous sponsor for the day. Whitwam Group,  Their AV Intergrator, Andy Pymm and Managing Director, Buzz Ross, will present the keynote in the morning on the issue of integrating AV into listed buildings, a subject in which they have a huge amount of experience.

They will present a compeling case study with regards to their work in buildings of great cultural significance. Highlighting the challenges they face, the solutions, and finally the practical coniderations and time sponges (sic) that effect installation and testing.

Andy Pymm
Andy has been with Whitwam Group for over 19 years, with more than 25 years’ audio visual experience.

With his expertise and knowledge, Andy works to enable ideas and produce a reality. From initial thoughts and enquiry, Andy will work to explore the practicalities including design and costs. His experience has delivered over 200 installations to date and ensures effective aftercare and maintenance.

Buzz Ross
As Managing Director of the Whitwam Group, Buz works with the audio visual teams to expand and develop their client base and also developing new technology and training with the team.

With over 19 years of experience in event production management, he now spreads his time between event production, video production, AV integration and directing the business. Buzz and Andy will be there for the whole day and will take part in the Forum discussion on this theme and wherever we range from there. These have always been infomative and fun at past events.

Whitwam Group
The whitwam group hold together the three service entities that have been in development for 35 years under the single name of whitwam ltd. Trading since 1909, 2019 is our 110th year of business.

The business has grown and continues to do so, each of three whitwam services now looks to the future with a singular focus, each has developed an independent voice to ensure you receive the full effect of the huge experience and enthusiasm each sector has in delivering to you. Offering the highest levels of understanding and commitment to every project we undertake, whether it be the delivery of audio solutions to Westminster Abbey, or a company event, such as a conference, product launch or livestream.

I have seen Whitwam’s work first hand and several AVCF members have used their services (and are big fans of the results).

I’m very excited about getting this together and think it will be a very useful and inspiring day.

Please RSVP 🙂
