Our latest event: AVCF Symposia                    Thursday April 4th at the Royal Geographical Society

AVCF Symposia the first of a series of events that combine a theme, chosen by the host. A keynote presented in the morning on this theme, a chance to see an interesting venue and a forum discussion after lunch in the afternoon.

We are very happy to announce that along with the hosting of Alfredo Radetitch and the team at RGS we have a sponsor for the day. Whitwam Ltd who will be giving a keynote in the morning on the issue of integrating AV into listed buildings, a subject in which they have a huge amount of experience.

They will present a compelling case study with regards their work in buildings of great cultural significance. Highlighting the challenges they face, the solutions, and finally the practical considerations and time sponges (sic) that effect installation and testing.

They will be there for the whole day and will take part in the Forum discussion on this theme and wherever we range from there. These have always been informative and fun at past events.

I have seen Whitwam’s work first hand and several AVCF members have used their services (and are big fans of the results).

I’m very excited about getting this together and think it will be a very useful and inspiring day.

Welcome to the AVCF

The AV Cultural Forum is a growing community of AV Managers, Senior Technicians, Technicians and key players in our world. All of them seeking to discuss their experiences and to exchange ideas, information and knowledge. Helping us all deliver AV in its many forms.

We arrange bespoke events which act as a platform for our members to see emerging trends and get together socially. The highlight of our year is the IAV (Intelligent Audio Visual) showcase and networking event where we invite handpicked organisations to display and talk to fellow members, engage in our panel sessions and create a more relaxed environment not afforded at big ‘sales expos’.

Come join the adventure.

If you are interested in taking part in the Forum and would like to become a member, please send an email to membership@avcf.co.uk
